If you are interested in development or locating a business in the City, it is important to understand the existing land use and zoning regulations for properties in Cerritos. The City's zoning map, municipal (zoning) code, and land use map establish permitted and allowable land uses in specific areas of the City, as well as conditionally permitted and prohibited uses. For additional assistance with land use or zoning questions, please contact the Department of Community Development at (562) 916-1201.
