City Charter
The basic law of the government of the City of Cerritos is found in the City Charter, first adopted by a vote of the people in 1959, and subsequently by the voters on March 2, 1965, January 10, 1967, January 20, 1970, November 4, 1986, November 8, 1994 and April 12, 2022.
