The City of Cerritos manages and maintains a host of municipal services, including water and electric utilities, and offers residents and businesses a variety of cable and internet service options.

Water

The City's Water Utility maintains approximately 16,000 water service connections Citywide including wells, system reservoirs, water transmission lines, fire hydrants and a recycled-water distribution system.

Electric

Businesses operating in a commercial or industrial facility in Cerritos may be eligible for a five percent discount on electricity costs. The City operates the Cerritos Electric Utility (CEU), an electric utility that provides clean, reliable and lower-cost electricity to businesses in the City.

Cable and Internet

Cable and internet services in Cerritos are provided by private companies, which charge subscription fees.
