Hana Wellness Center, a comprehensive healthcare facility, was established in 2005, under the direction of Dr. Frank Sung Hwan Om, focusing on pain management and specializing in the areas of lumbar and cervical pain. Dr. Om is a pioneer in the field of Eastern medicine, incorporating musculoskeletal treatment techniques to effectively relieve pain caused by repetitive motion, occupational/sports injuries, and degeneration. Educated in Ju-Heng and RSN acupuncture, Dr. Om’s rigorous clinical training and acquired knowledge as a fourth generation physician in the field of Eastern medicine allow for him to treat a wide spectrum of ailments, producing tremendous results. Dr. Om incorporates natural modalities of Eastern medicine, such as acupuncture and cupping, with individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs for effective results. The focus is to effectively reduce or eliminate the cause of an illness, rather than masking or merely treating the symptoms. In addition, Hana Wellness Center educates patients in the areas of proper nutrition, exercise/stretching techniques, stress management, and lifestyle choices. The primary goal of Hana Wellness Center is to provide effective treatment and rehabilitation, with educational components for the patient to empower each patient to maintain optimal health. 

Hana Wellness Center provides quality medical care to residents and businesses of Cerritos, neighboring communities, and even patients from around the world. For nearly twenty years, Hana Wellness Center has serviced numerous patients and businesses in the areas of worker’s compensation, geriatrics, orthopedic care, men’s/women’s health, general health services, emotional and mental health services, and pain management. In addition, Hana Wellness Center has also offered many internship opportunities to ABC Unified School District students, interested in pursuing a career in the field of medicine.
