The award-winning Insta Graphic Systems was recently chosen for the City’s Business Spotlight Program, which showcases companies that foster pride in the community, provide jobs and contribute to the local economy.

For more than 60 years, Insta Graphic Systems has led the development of technology and durable projects in the heat press and transfer markets to improve performance and efficiency of their machines to meet the needs of consumers. The company offers a variety of heat transfer products, including manual heat transfer machines, automatic heat transfer machines, and specialty heat presses, all equipped with superior pressure and temperature distribution, which allows for consistent quality and faster production.

Insta Graphic Systems was honored with two “Product of the Year” awards from the Specialty Graphic Imaging Association and the President’s “E” Award from the United States Secretary of Commerce, which recognizes businesses that have made outstanding contributions to the U.S. export expansion.

The company’s clients include major apparel companies in sports, fashion and retail industries in more than 120 countries, including Tommy Hilfiger, Puma, Calvin Klein, Levi’s, Adidas, Under Armor, DKNY, Nautica, Guess and Hanes. Insta Graphic Systems is accredited by various industry groups, including the California Fashion Association.

Since 1990, Insta Graphic Systems has been under the direction of President and CEO Janet Wells, who was the first woman appointed by U.S. Secretary of Commerce to serve on the Southern California Regional District Export Council. The SCRDEC is an advisory board to the President of the United States that focuses on improving U.S. exports. During the Covid-19 pandemic, California Governor Gavin Newsom’s office selected Wells to lead a team of business executives in obtaining personal protective equipment for California hospitals.
