City facilities observe Labor Day

Cerritos City Hall, the City Clerk/Treasurer’s Office, Cerritos Library, the Cerritos Senior Center at Pat Nixon Park, the Community Gymnasiums at Cerritos and Whitney high schools and the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts Ticket Office will be closed on Monday, September 2 in observance of Labor Day.

Cerritos Park East, Heritage Park and Liberty Park will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and the Cerritos Sports Complex will be open from 2 to 8 p.m. The Cerritos Iron-Wood Nine Golf Course driving range will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. The Cerritos Olympic Swim and Fitness Center will be open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.

There will be no street sweeping and trash pick-up on Labor Day. Schedules will be delayed by one day for the remainder of the week through Saturday. The COW and Dial-A-Ride transit services will not operate on Labor Day.
